100% Respect: Practical questions regularly asked by employees about diversity management

Purpose:

With this initiative we aim to:

  • offer a coherent and structural response throughout the entire organization on DE&I questions
  • equip team leaders to respond consistently to questions related to DE&I
  • support managers’ decisions within teams through the official nature of these documents.

Description :

The Q&A tool is designed to address common, practical questions from employees regarding diversity management at bpost. It includes 16 frequently asked questions that span various aspects of diversity, such as gender, disability, religious, and philosophical beliefs. This resource aims to provide clear, practical guidance for handling real-life scenarios, such as responding to discriminatory remarks or considering schedule adjustments for religious observances. Each question is met with concrete advice and actionable recommendations, equipping team members and managers with the insights needed to foster an inclusive work environment.

Results :

The topic of diversity was (and remains) high on the priority agenda for bpost, which ensured strong sponsorship from leadership and the allocation of resources to create these tools.
It helps to safe time and answer or react immediately on certain questions. This document is also used in trainings we offer to managers to ensure everyone is aware of this tool (and other tools).
