Gather data about workforce diversity through surveys to create a solid action plan

Purpose:

Collect data to know on which topic we need to invest time and energy.

Description :

Launch of an anonymous survey at company level to collect data about diversity of the workforce (age, gender identity, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ community members, ethnic minorities), feeling of equity and inclusion. We also asked if people have seen non inclusive behaviour, how they reacted, who they contacted when they did it.

We have done it 2 years in a row with 66% participation rate.

We communicated the results to the work council and during 6 calls where 50% or our workforce participated.

Results :

We were able to have a picture of our situation, share the results (great way to create awareness) and create 2 working groups to define an action plan with Actiris. The action plan is currently being implemented.

As we have done it two years in a row, we were able to see the evolutions and to finetune where we really need to take actions.

It also allowed us to confirm the central role of the manager when non inclusive behaviour occur. We are currently developing support to help them to face these situations.
